Welcome to The Lodge Dog Daycare
The Lodge Dog Daycare is a culmination of over 15 years of experience in dog behaviour, socialisation and enrichment. Created by Leon Towers and Dean Bailey, it represents the next chapter of a journey that began long before The lodge opened its doors.
Long before today's purpose-built centre existed, Leon pioneered The House of Hugo - one of the UK's first dedicated dog super centres. It's innovative approach to canine care and socialisation became the inspiration for the television series The Dog Hotel, introducing Leon's work with dogs to audiences across the country and establishing a philosophy that continues to shape everything we do today.
That Philosophy has never changed.
Every dog deserves the opportunity to learn, socialise, explore and simply enjoy being a dog within a calm, safe and understanding environment.
Purpose-built by Dean Bailey around around Leon's proven behavioural methods, The Lodge has been designed from the ground up with dogs - not people- in mind. Every play space, enrichment area and natural feature has a purpose:

Leon Towers
Celebrity dog behaviourist, TV canine expert and author, Leon Towers is the co founder of The Lodge Dog Daycare. He runs the facility himself along with co founder Dean Bailey. With a plethora of knowledge and over 16 years experience in canine behaviour and managing one of the largest dog daycares in the country, he understands the importance of a balanced, safe and enriching daycare.
